About Kansas SNMP Program
Download:
Multiple versions of SNMP exist for Kansas because the state is
divided into three Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) zones. Only
two versions of Kansas SNMP are currently available because the far
western zone (Zone 13) covers a small area and was thus ignored for purposes of
convenience. If you would like a version of SNMP for far western
Kansas, contact us at
nmplanner@missouri.edu,
and we can make this available. For more information
about UTM zones, see the U.S. Geological Survey's
fact sheet on the subject. Examine the map to see which version
of SNMP would be suitable for your operation.
Note: If you
intend to plan multiple operations that involve both zones, you can
install both versions of Kansas SNMP on your machine simultaneously.
Note: Currently there
is no way to deal with an operation that falls across a UTM zone boundary.
